Event specifics

This event was designed for the N.O.S vs Teku Challenge series.. Please state in this post if you'd like to enter. There will be 2 teams.. With the majority of the participants being the robbers. And like 4 or 5 participants will be the cops...

The rules are simple:

1. Have fun!!!

2. Be respectful

3. Take turns as the cops and the robbers.

How to play... (some stuff isnt stated)

Since only 8 people can be in a race at a time there can only be a small amount of cops with majority being Robbers...

1. One team will be the robbers

2. One team will be the cops (like 2-3 people depending on the amount of robbers)

3. The robbers must finish the race to evade.

I am still deciding on how someone gets busted.. But I was thinking of either a specific amount of physical hits to the robbers car or pinning the robber somehow..

If you'd ike to participate please leave you NFSW in game name, your Time Zone and what time you would be able to get on (in your time).. There will be further notice on the exact date of the event. Thank you.



P.S. Please help me decide on how the Robbers should get busted and on which track(s) we should use. (Try to pick considerably long ones) (A track like Hastings or something bigger or a little bit smaller would be a good track to use. Track shouldn't be too long.)

Stupisfsh, GMT +0 and from 5:30pm till10pm or on weekends: all day

coltsdude1000, Eastern time, Weekdays 3:00 to 10:30 and Saturday after 6:30 pm and Sunday all day. What about if you hit the wall more than 5 times or get pin more than 3 sec than you get caught, just a idea

A couple of things though, there should be more cops than robbers. To catch the robber the cops need to pin him where he can't get free. The cops have a time limit on how long to catch the robbers. After that time limit the robber wins. That is the only way I have played it.

Justa heads up... Keep in mind about the sync issue in NFS. The cops could see themselves hitting a robber... but to the robber, it might not be the same on their screen. And vice versa... So I hope the first event goes well and the sync doesn't complicate things.

Possible Solution: See Below, and pray Sync doesn't cause to much problem lol.

A problem with this... Lets say the cops pin the person in last place... Takes about 10 seconds to do so with that person fighting to break free. They then decide to go after the other robbers who by now are a quarter of the track ahead of the cops, making it almost impossible to catch them unless they hit every car on the road...

A simple solution: Make the cops be a tier higher than the robbers (No golf or A1 allowed on either side.) This would give the cops a slightly faster car and an upper hand to catch the robbers, as they have in real life. This would also put more of a challenge on the robbers and make them have to fight to escape. This would lead to much more fun and challenging Cops vs Robbers races.

So lets say the robbers all have tier 1 cars... then the cops get tier 2. If the robbers have tier 2... the cops get tier 3. And so forth... No tier 3 robbers unless you want the cops not to catch them after busting 1 person

Good idea, but the only way I've ever played is 2 or 4 cops and 1 robber.

Great Idea, thats the best way to play it and its fair, i call tier 2 robber.

i've played this with others in the game... some dude named "countysheriff" he usually organizes these things but we all enter a t3 track i believe its---------- its a sprint track....
anyway we all go backwards on the track and it lets us all roam around the whole map.... it seems to only work with that one track... but yeh they give like a 20 min time cap for the cops to get the robbers we pin them for like 5 secs then the game is over....
we can't use backspace or its an automattic out or use any power ups....

i recently found out this dude countysheriff is from street rampage lol...

I edited your post Rodtard. Track name is removed. Please also be very cautious of who you are racing with in particular Street Rampage/Team Fortuna. These crews are not running in this game properly shall we say. Backend glitches are one thing and most know of them, but cheating/hacking is a whole different issue.

i would like to play but i usually get on about 9 p.m. (UTC-07:00) Arizona all the time...

Nov 20th sounds good to me, i love my T2 lotus, but i dont know how many people are going to want to use there T2 cars.
