Controller troubleshooting for NFSW?

Guys I got a controller recently and wanted to know how to set it up for NFSW? I know some people like Kevin use a controller on NFSW so was wondering if you could tell me. Thankies.

What type of controller?

Generally its plug & play and you can't change the keys unless you utilize a 3rd party mapping program.

Just a basic little xbox 360 controller. A wired one. It doesn't seem to have a brand, like logitech or something, listed on the controller or the site to order it. I really like it though so... meh lol

Edit: When I plug my controller in, launched the game, and tried to move with the controller, nothing. Hit trigger which would of supposedly been the acceleration button, moved the analog stick around, just none of the controls work. Its kind of weird.
