What do you think of the update?

Hey guys, i have gone on world to try the new update, I have asked dax of what he thinks and he says its horrible, i think its ok and we will get used to it as time goes on, but what do u think?

i havent got into world yet.. i will after dinner... in the mean time will start the update

On a side note, I raced the AI in a Class S race and they were all driving a Carrera GT.

OK, the reason it's currently horrible is because the parts are insanely hard to work out.

Adding better brakes of certain kinds actually reduces the handling instead of improving it. The same applies to the rest of the parts. Of course, it's possibly just bugged but it's likely there's a secret to parting cars that once again needs to be figured out. That could take a while..

i have just tried it out and it is gonna take some getting used to... the handeling on my fastest cars have gotten horrible... but the accel is way up there... some of my cars have understeer that never used to have it before... ughhh gotta re-tune this stuff now..

Since we have gone off topic yet again..........lets try to keep on topic .

ok to set it back on topic... the parts system that most had, gone...

i noticed though with a 001 brake, it raised the speed and the acceleration by 10, but kept the handling the same...

the team escapes are way harder... i was trying to win one and out of 22 TE ( off and on all today) i won 0... and i know why

all my cars set for team escape or pursuit are now really light... because of the parts changing, it seems the weights changed also... the Bentley with the weighted?... got cornered because it got knocked around like a rag doll... it was and is now.... light o_o

it seems the skills do work better and make more of a impact in races since update...
saying the above... to have a heavier car do you need 2 level 3 ram skills ( makes car heavier) to make more of a impact?

ok, so with all that said ( long).... i don't just dislike this update much, i hate it!... mess with my cars speeds... i ok, mess with my weighted cars?... i am verrrrrry mad ( enough that i made a lovely hole in wall next to me, bringing out the plaster... )
guess i need break from world .... oh yea! i taking a break!.... see you guys in 2 weeks, leaving tomorrow but day full....

The main reasons I hate this:

1) Not all events are available. It's now a pain in the ass to do treasure hunts unless you've got enough SB for a flipping TH car... it also makes it rather annoying when I prefer to race one event over and over, which is basically all I do whenever I play.
2) The low-tier TE events are now... really too low. I personally think that the tier system was severely out of balance for races, not TEs. I wanted to race All In, but my cars are all A class, and I'm not about to shell out $100k JUST to race the low TEs (my favorites by the way) unless I've gotten another good car in my arsenal.

The reasons I like it:
1) The store and car changer are now a lot easier to use.
2) I got three free car slots.
3) RACES should slightly improve in terms of balance. I still don't think SB car users should be paired against IGC car users as often as it happens.
4) The reward cards and race rewards, while obviously more generous, are actually proportionally more generous when you compare them to how much car prices rose. I got $10k as a gold card reward in Late Departure (Tier 3/A Class) and $2500 from a silver card in Rosewood Raid.

Improvements I have in mind:
1) Make an organization option for the store showing only IGC, SB, or rental cars... it would be extremely helpful for me.
2) Bring back the non-base IGC cars. I honestly saw no reason for them to remove them except for their damn greed... and remember that the El Camino Juggernaut wasn't that old compared to some cars in the game.
3) My most demanded one: Make all unlocked RACES available to everyone who had reached the level to partake in it and had a proper class car to do so. As a person who's been stomped on by SB users enough times, I've gotten to the point where I almost completely refuse to enter a race. I have no way of buying SB (unless they start accepting TracFone payment) so I'm hung out to dry. However, in the Late Departure event that I entered, I was up against an Elite CCX. He was within a second of getting a DNF, I had 45 seconds to spare when I finished (driving my Z06).

Overall, I'd give this update somewhere between a neutral and thumbs down reaction.

My question is how long are they going to keep this type of update before they replace it with something else or change everything agian??

Until the next NFS title come out after NFSMW2

NFE: World is nothing more than a beta testing hub to test out stuff before they implement them into boxed games. (yes, NFSMW2 will have these car classes.)
