No. The EA team does not have anything against people who are Jewish. The problem lies within the profanity filter that is used.

Since so many misinformed, irresponsible and down right pathetic people use the term "Jew" as a form of slander or as a derogatory name for another person or group of persons, meaning "penny pincher", or as someone who refuses to spend money on something whether cheap or expensive, the development team have had to include that word into the profanity filter. It is NOT because they are anti-semitic.

If you would like to point the finger at anyone, point it firmly at the other users who have had to make the word censored in the first place. After all, its their fault the term is being misused and not the development team.

In fact, it may not be a bad thing that it's not allowed on your profile. Whilst I fully understand that someone should be able to be proud of their faith or something they believe in, it can also make them a target for someone's hatred and posting that could just end up with you being in the firing line from trolls, xenophobes, intollerants and band wagon jumpers. That said, it's not very fair that some things are censored and other things aren't.

They are simply blocking anything that could be political issues, racial slurs, and potential sexual abusive words. Take no offense to it at all. He should right Jewish and not Jew then if it is blocked that is a problem.
