Laptop Down :( -------> Back UP :)

Well it is my fault as i broke the AC adapter. I have to go look locally for one that may replace it, in the mean time I did order one through amazon, but it will take 3-5 days to get it and quite pricey too.

All hope is not lost however as I still have my old craptop and my desktop to work with until then.

When I get the new AC adapter I think i will encase it in something that can protect it better from my abuse... Grr can't believe I let this happen.

The AC adapter started doing funny things just after a brownout/blackout the other night. I had it plugged into a standard unprotected outlet. Damn It! Damn It! Damn It! I know better.....

Sounds like what the ex did to the gaming rig i had. Back when i was with her me and her step father would take the old peterbilt and do some logging to make some extra cash, well she has specific instructions not to touch the gaming computer since i had JUST bought her a brand new laptop and desktop. However like most women she ignored what i had said and moved the gaming rig in order to clean the room. She messed up the plugs and forgot that the alternate computer i had was on the same surge protector as the gaming rig and when she plugged them up, she plugged them into the normal outlet. Just so happened that it was storming like hell that night and both computers got blown. 2TB worth of data lost including tax forms and such.

That door got a padlock on it when i got home.

I would die if somethin like that happen

Going to be a long night of updates to my desktop.

Hmm maybe I should put that new desk together that I have had in my garage for 6 months It might be a good time while I am updating all my games.

Laptop is back up and running. Battery is charging and I will be updating all my games . Just finished building my new computer desk yesterday (4 hours) so now I can have my laptop and PC next to each other on one surface without having to drag over the piano bench.


On the other side of things it has been a shit day so far. New office location is OK only 6 miles from the house, they did not have my work area setup, the network cable was mis-numbered and not active, My youngest locked himself and my wife out of the house, then she took the 2 boys to the doctor and both are sick, then the truck stalled and broke down (had it towed to be fixed $$$$$$) and got 2 very large medical bills from labwork on my wife when she was sick. Its been a long day.

Oh and the OPEN OFFICE environment is the stupidest creation in the world. At least I am on the Sales & Marketing side and not the Engineering side that looks like a call center.

Wow am sorry for ya Dan...and to add on to that we have some people arguing here, feel so sorry, I hope the people will figger it out, u need a brake Dan.
