Different ways to take awesome screen shots in NFSW
#1. Turn off the HUD
#2. Screenshots in your safehouse with no HUD
#3 Panoramic Pictures in NFSW (Single Monitor People like me)
#4 Fraps
- The combination Alt+Z will hide your game hud and allow for a clean screen shot anywhere in the game and any game mode.
- This is great for videos as well
- Grab, upload, and post to the NOG site
#2. Screenshots in your safehouse with no HUD
- Use Alt+Z in free roam to turn off the HUD
- Push "H" to enter your safehouse
- Use your mouse to control moving your car around for screen shots, and zoom
- Push "Esc" button to exit the safe house and return to free roam
- Preferred screenshot method for the Car show contests
- Grab, upload, and post to the NOG site
#3 Panoramic Pictures in NFSW (Single Monitor People like me)
- First change your video setting to Windows mode and change the screen size so you can see your computer desktop in the back ground
- Next move your windowed game to the left pushing part of it off the screen
- Then stretch the screen to the right thereby widening the NFSW screen
- Use Alt+Z to hide your HUD
- You may not be able to see the whole screen because you moved part of it off your desktop view, but when you take a PrintScreen Windows will capture the whole game screen
- Remember to resize your game screen and change the video setting back to full screen from windows mode
- Check your NFSW screenshots folder for the epic panoramic screenshot, edit, and post to the NOG site
#4 Fraps
- If you have Fraps or any similar program setup your screenshots to auto shoot while racing/ in free roam, etc.
- Generally I will set it to shoot every 2 seconds
- When done shut it down and go through all the pictures, you will scrap a lot but will have a few that really stand out.
- Grab, upload, and post to the NOG site

couple questions:
Is fraps free?
If not, a free substitute?
And a huge thanks to doggy for the tutorial on the Panoramic Pictures. Will come in handy for my car design show on the 19th

No Fraps is not free. They do offer a one time payment for life with free upgrades. I believe is was like $20 so I did it. There are other ways of getting it..... but for the price it is worth buying

Made a visit to the showroom for a panoramic pic for my signature. Turned out very well.
