What do you guys think about the Skill Mods

Title says it all.

My answer to this is Neither, well because of the Nerves of Steel, Need for Speed and Dragster skills have removed and turned to the parts that I would only use on my cars that benefit its traits (since I'm using the Kawashi/Lambo guide). For the Skill mods, not bad. You could have your own Team Escape, Racer and Treasure Hunter. More to that, it balances the gap between a free player and a Boost player.

yeah, now you have to really rely on your driving skill and the parts you put on your cars.... but the purple nos is pretty cool

it actually places the gap bigger between F2P and P2W players. Free to play are going to get the crap parts and skill mods while the paying player, who has the cash, will buy the best stuff and can own you with their level 1 car if so chosen. If you are going to remove the 3 racing skills everyone used and supply parts then they should have supplied every car that you own with the parts not just enough to part up 5-6 cars. Skill Mods are crap cause you can't put them back. I set up a combination and now I am screwed because I have to change the combination since it did not work right. Forced into buying boost packs if I want to keep the top mods.

Don't get me started on the crap drop rate btw, as you know they are screwing everyone there as well.

I would like to update my thoughts on Skill Mods and Ultra Parts.

First don't bother putting any on the Dodge Viper mine got worse. Anyway for the most part with the update I can now make my original DOGMAN75 have some competitive cars with the free ultra parts and the right skill mods I have been having a little fun. I have enough car parts to upgrade 5 cars in each tier and well I have enough decent cars waiting to be upgraded on this account.

The other accounts will be harder to work with since I have a ton more cars on there. So while I am not thrill about the change it is growing on me a bit allowing me to compete. Still won't race against anyone outside the community cause hackers seem to be everywhere.

Update: am feeling a little worse about the new skill mods than before, i mean like Dan said, "Still won't race against anyone outside the community cause hackers seem to be everywhere", i think the skill mods are bad and i will be on a little less than my 3 hours i used to be on but since am lvl 50, am not going to complain too much but i probably wont lvl up my TekuJonathan(Lvl10) account that much(at least not as fast as i was going to lvl it up before) because now a lvl 2 can be driving a T3, i do have a boss, R34, and 240sx on that account and probably will beat them with thoses cars but still...i still wish u could stack the skills , but i will trying doing all the skill mods on all 18 of my cars when i get done moving.

Whatever people, I mean, what's done has been done, there's no going back now. As much as my mom wishes that she hadn't gotten a Santa Fe, she has it now. So deal with it...

I actually like it. I enjoy setting up specific cars for racing or TE. I got enough 3 star skills to keep me satisfied. As for the hackers, I destroyed 2 of them yesterday. 1 hacker I beat even had the nerve to say "Wow!, what to you have you acceleration setting set at".

i only do spific races for my speed cars there 3 races i can trust, waterfront, state and 99, and the highway loop at top of the map... (forgot thy name) and that is what i put all my nitrus on, i knew these cars were fantasic at nos, so i made them prestart and nos up the you know what... they work fantasic! ( so far 3 are head tier, eclipse, lambo contach, and the elusive rtr-x) but for other cars this new setting didnt work well... you know that 2000gt-r that i was so proud of?... he is only a shell of what he used to be... his contoll went way down, his speed and acceleriaon droped to much, and he is way lighter than what he was...now have a super sad face beacuse he had falled from his reighning #1 t1 car i have ....

now though i like a part of a game better than before..... team escapes and persuits!.... my speed cars dont do well in them and i can see why, one hit and they toast... but once you set up jugggggy to my top te cars, some unstopable, others make cops fly! ( juggs... ford gt, dodge charger superbee, dodge challinger) i simply doubled the jugg power and durriation... i also made them catch up X1... helped out with all 3... i have 1 car made for my tresure hunts, full freeroam cash that i found helped, my porshe carerea ( t2 tresure hunter)...

this above is a look into what i did, some i did for slingshot, nos, cash, juggernaut, shield and magnet or escape ( push cars away )... i amit a few i tried to get for speed and they didnt work well, you have to put the skills where that car does the best... thinking on this line i am starting to compile what difrint stats work with certin cars better, like the parts guide but with the stats...

that guide right no id keeping me intrested, and help is apprisiated... out of all of NOG i think we can definately compile this list... help others in nog with stat points.

I too am starting to like the mods. Daxtron, Swiftdrift and I all got the Audi R8 rental and we had the most fun in NFSW ever.

What we should all do is save one car that is
1) easy and cheap to buy IGC with
2) use no mods, powerups, or perf upgrades

and totally do races like it was in NFS MW (trust me, it was sooooooo fun)

lol, and yeah I like the mods too, I only have 5 cars and thats enough for me to tune, I have 2 t.e cars and 2 race cars and one project car, and at kjg, i think so too, i'm thinking the charger superbee, that would test the drivers skill so much, but it should be like a nog community event, maybe for the nogaversary, see i even made up a name
