Ubisoft Wants to "Improve" Its Relationship With PC Community
Ubisoft increased the options available through its Uplay service in a bid to "improve" its relationship with the PC community.
Speaking to MCV, Uplay director Stephanie Perotti explained the addition of companies like EA, Warner Bros, Telltale and Bohemia to Uplay is the latest attempt by the company to increase its appeal to PC gamers.
"Announcing all these partners for Uplay and a wider choice of PC games, it shows our commitment to PC, and we want to improve our relationship with the PC community," she explained.
"We are always seeking to improve. We took a lot of that feedback on board. With every game on PC we are improving. Far Cry 3 and Assassin’s Creed III on PC were very high quality."
Elsewhere in the interview, Perotti explains that she doesn't believe Uplay will struggle in the face of other digital download services like Steam and EA' Origin, stating, "At Uplay we are also offering all Ubisoft titles, more console content and elements that gamers are more interested in. It’s about offering more options and more choice."
This is the latest move by Ubisoft to revamp its PC business in the face of criticism. Until September last year, the company made use of controversial anti-piracy methods that required players to have an active internet connection at all times while playing a game, but this was later ditched after sustained complaints from gamers.
While it's certainly a step in the right direction, is it enough to tempt you away from Steam or Origin, or is it too little too late? Let us know what you think in the comments.

Re: Ubisoft Wants to "Improve" Its Relationship With PC Community
As long as they don't pull the EA Origin out on their own bull it will be fine, but I still will purchase through steam as my main client. There is no changing that.
