My Video Series
He we go. Just loaded up NFS Most Wanted last night and was pretty much messing around trying to get a grip on things.
The graphics are good, but the game is not well optimized as I found I needed to turn down some settings in order to get a decent frame rate. You will hear me talk about this a couple times.
Controls:
Setup my SRW-S1 steering wheel and run it last night. I will be setting up the keyboard and Logitiech F710 controller to test and see which works best. Similar to The Run and NFSHP I am going to say that the steering wheel is just not the correct controller to use as this game is much more arcade style and response/physics of the cars are definitely not the real thing.
Gameplay:
-I would say its an enhanced version of The Run. Harder to control than NFSHP was, but again this will go back to arcade style.
-Disappointed in the "Jacking" of cars, as it was shown in trailers, where all you need to do is drive by a car and it is now in your garage so to speak.
-Racing through a gas station repairs your car and changes the paint color which is not to bad at all.
-The open world is a nice feature and I would say this enhances the play experience.
-I have not really gotten into the single player campaign yet so I will reserve for future comments in upcoming videos.
-Races seem to be challenging, the AI cars are much more aggressive then in the past, and the traffic cars seem to pop up more often. Bare in mind we are in the city and not out in SeaCrest County like in NFSHP.
-Multiplayer, skill points, and extra features will be discussed in later videos.
-Pursuits seem to be real challenging and very fun
---------------------------
For now enjoy my screwing around, crashes, getting mad, and all the jumps and stuff from my first game footage.
Re: My Video Series
This time I changed up and set my keyboard for my driving. I found this is the best option for me making the game feel more like a mix between NFSHP and The Run. I still have a little adjusting to do, but it is a vast improvement over my first run/impression.
Still not entirely sure why the game has such bad FPS with my average only being 20-25FPS where as most other games with similar requirements generally net me 45-60 FPS. Not many configuration options here to make it better, but I will continue to work it.
Located a few cars, had a few crashes, got busted, and also evade some cops. Enjoy the video.
Re: My Video Series
Here we go again. Running through and finding a couple different cars on my pursuit outrun by the cops. I kept it going for a while up and down on the heat levels. The hard part is that once you reach level 6 not only do you need to find a way to run from the cops, but that the game slowly drops heat levels during the cooldown therefore making it harder to get away.
This by far is one of the best parts in the game. I have yet to even go into the multiplayer as the single player campaign is filled with so much stuff.
In my next video watch as I fail hard on my first most wanted #10 takedown while running in the Corvette.
Re: My Video Series
First time running against #10 on the Most Wanted list using the Corvette which I had just picked up and was not use to driving. Factor in the cops and this makes for a rather epic fail on my behalf. Enjoy
Re: My Video Series
In a previous video I showed you my epic fail of the #10 most wanted using the corvette that I had just picked up. This time I used the Porsche Carrera S slightly upgraded. Upgraded will include the following:
Burn Nitrous - Standard
Tires - Track
Chassis - Lightweight
Having been adjusting the keyboard control bindings over the past couple days to where I like them I am now starting to get the groove of the game.
When first using each car you will think that they suck and Criterion did a poor job on design, however as you do more actual races with each car and upgrade the parts you will find the car starts to become easier to run and much more fun. I would put the feel closer to NFSHP as it is upgraded.
Stay tuned for more cool videos and thanks for watching. Please remember to sub and like my page for more.
Re: My Video Series
Needed to race this twice to get 1st place as you will see the cops can be a bit of a challenge in this game. So much fun and destruction.
Re: My Video Series
t is what it is. Sometimes you got to fail before you can succeed. Well enjoy my failure on this one.
Re: My Video Series
ive beat every most wanted... i find that after maybe 10 min or so... i can dial in my responses to the characteristics of each car... also helps im VERY used to the PS3 controller. thankfully it doesnt take me 10min each time... just the first

Re: My Video Series
I am not much good on the controller, my wheel is useless because this is a arcde style so I end up using the keyboard. It takes me a bit longer to adjust and dial in, but I have been working the bindings to best fit me and am much more improved.
Re: My Video Series
So many have asked to see the Viper in action. I got it, I have been using it constantly for everything and I have been making record times with this beast. It is a beautiful car in this game. As you can imaging the most wanted drivers are aggressive and you will see a lot of hitting and crashing for your pleasure.but it should be known this is a top car for sure.
Re: My Video Series
Well here we go again, using my Viper (one of my favorite cars in the game) I am running through taking down #5 and #6 most wanted. I throw in lots of crashes as always for some laughs. The Viper is not fully pro-tuned up. I am using the Pro Boost Shot which I find much more effective, standard run flats, light aero body, and pro short gears.
