Epic Guns Made Better!!!

Getting my ass handed to me so many times in the new Pirate DLC, in particular that I have been doing some exploring of the BL2 official forums and how to modify weapons a bit. So I have some of the most legendary weapons in the game as myself, Kovurae, Zetas, Kypex have played a little bit of the game in the past month.

I have logged in over 122 hrs myself, Zeta at 137 hrs, Kovurae at 148 hrs, and Kypex at 55 hrs (which is great when you consider he was using a wireless phone for access)........

So let's get this mod party started...........

Before anyone goes saying I am cheating, this is called weapons modifying and is acceptable/encouraged by Gearbox and the Borderlands team to see what can be done. It should be noted in this case however, that if you modify a weapon incorrectly with features it should never have the game code will automatically delete it. So beware you take a risk when doing so.

Anyway below are 2 weapons, first is the actual screen of the Legendary loot weapon before I modified the abilities.

Critical Conference Call: I have 2 on my Gunzerker for dual wielding so there are 2 different mods

Original weapon:


Modified weapon:

#1 Now has additional Shock capabilities
#2 Now has additional Corrosive capabilities

The Rapid Infinity Pistol:

Extremely rare loot drop and I have been successful at duplicating this weapon several times within the game not using any special tools but simply character swapping. What makes this insane is first the gun has unlimited ammo, so the clip never ends/needs to be refilled. What else is when firing the longer you hold the trigger the faster the gun fires and can easily be similar/better then most Assault/SMG guns in the game.

So we have the Original Weapon stats:

#1 Now has additional Shock capabilities
#2 Now has additional Corrosive capabilities

---It should be noted that by doing this the actual damage to the gun changed slightly. Not enough to make a difference at the rate of fire from the weapon.
