Shelby Terlingua

A couple years ago Need for Speed was given the rare opportunity to work with the late-great Caroll Shelby to build a truly unique muscle car. The result of this joint venture was the Need for Speed Shelby Terlingua Ford Mustang!

They started off with a 2006 Ford Mustang and its disappointing V6 that Motor Trend once famously quipped ‘belongs at the end of an anchor’. They gave it some more guts and power by dropping a Paxton supercharger into it. Once they had the power in place they then added independent MacPherson struts in the front and three-link coil spring Panhard rod suspension in the rear, as well as adding a NOVI-1200 compressor with an air and water change cooler to the engine.

They then added the Need for Speed edition livery by blacking it out, giving it a wider stance and dropping some nice lines along the body. In the end we ended up with a 375-horse beast that is just waiting for you to put into action!

The real life Terlingua was auctioned off for charity a while ago now but you can buy it now from the in-game car dealer!

Can you spot the difference from the NFSW version and the real one? What do you see wrong!!!!!

yo forgot about the exust, it different too, IN-GAME its in the body of the car, and
at real, it's out, do you know what do I mean?

Well yea but in undercover it was that way and if u didnt know, undercover is my 2nd fav NFS title.

Well of course its the same way from undercover, I mean if they actually knew how to code better instead of just copying the old and putting it into a 4 section box design than maybe I would not complain so much, but you will have to admit people will immediately notice the difference from the real vs NFSW version and get mad.

Poor poor front insignia. I'd rather have the real insignia instead of that ugly NFS one.

Like i said to Dax, WTF ITS TIER 2, question which car is faster a crown vic or a shelby Terlingua? Same tier now but when they redo the tiers it will be right, LOL

BTW, I WANT THIS CAR NOW!!!!

It's not badly priced for a T2 car and it is something i would get.

Any body kits available?

Why would you want to??? But to answer, there is no body kits for it.

I know there is no drifting in world and the only way to make it slide the way it does in the pic is to do it on the grass. Why do they do this to us like this.

There are 3 things I dont like about this car:

1- The Tail Lights: THey look really dull
2- The pathetic NFS logo on the roof
3- The fact that there are Dual SubWOofers u can see behind the back seats and it doesnt hav a function to play music like the Eclipse Elite has

I like the stock style, just wondering if they had bodykits like Razor's. Just wondering.

Did not even look at the bodykits, cause the car is just sexy as it is, except the NFSW logo on the front.....
