BioWare has heard the complaints of Mass Effect 3 fans upset with the game's ending, and the studio is looking to address them.

Didn't like Mass Effect 3's ending? BioWare has heard your complaints.
In a statement released on BioWare's website, co-founder Dr. Ray Muzyka said the development team is working on "game content initiatives" to answer lingering questions and provide fans with more closure. Specifics about those initiatives are expected next month.

"We're working hard to maintain the right balance between the artistic integrity of the original story while addressing the fan feedback we've received," Muzyka said. "This is in addition to our existing plan to continue providing new Mass Effect content and new full games, so rest assured that your journey in the Mass Effect universe can, and will, continue."

Muzyka stressed that BioWare is listening to all of the feedback it has received, provided it is constructive instead of destructive.

Mass Effect 3 launched on March 6 to a warm critical reception and heat from users regarding the game's ending and its day-one downloadable content, From Ashes. Members of the Mass Effect community even formed a charity petition called the Retake Mass Effect ChipIn fund, collecting PayPal donations for the Child's Play charity as a way of encouraging BioWare to make alternate Mass Effect 3 endings. As of press time, the fund has amassed over $75,000.
