OK interesting observation. I went to the xml file and deleted only "EN". I am loaded into world and my default chat is still "EN", but not channel number so no chat hacker. This is a down side or up side to this as I only see myself in the game. It is a free World with just me in it.

And you can still whisper or be in a group and use the chat since it is not in free roam.

This process is only good when you fell like racing and don't want to be bothered by the hackers

Against TOS to mod game files as well. That was a secret back then to do something.

The file can be found at C:\Users\Your Name\AppData\Roaming\Need for Speed World\Settings

Look for this line and delete it then save the file, it's near the top (you may need to open in Notepad)

Right...... still can't find it.........

Just realized though, that I installed NFSW on my D drive instead of the C drive... Now what do I do?

Update: if you just delete the EN in that code and save it, you can clost the chat box, whisper and chat in event.

Yes dont delete the whole string just the "EN" an dwhat happens is your channel is missing. You will be in world by yourself until you choose a channel or get in a group.
