New “Runway” Drag Track Added to Need for Speed World

If you haven’t logged in and played Need for Speed World in the past 24 hours you may not have seen the brand new drag track that we just added to the game!

Ever since we released Drag mode in the game the community has been asking for a class restricted drag track that allows players to put their best car against their opponent’s best. With this feedback in mind yesterday we added the new S Class restricted “Runway” drag track to the game!

The new track can be found in Rockport and is restricted to only Class S cars only. Its total length is 1.8km, can have a maximum of 4 racers and you won’t see any traffic cars while roaring down this drag strip.

This is the third new drag track to be added to NFS World in the past month and hopefully we’ll see more down the road. You can race the new Runway track now!

Umm, that's actually not the track in the picture. Instead, I think you'll find it's Speed Fair, which is not class locked. By all accounts they've just used a snap of any drag track instead of featuring the new one.

Oh and I logged in last night (obvious by the new picture I posted) and no one was on to race with......

its just like every other drag track-all S, so that track remained with no change..

yes but no worry about murci roadster, unless parted enough to get to s... which is the most popular drag car because it is free... and it is in the top 10 of drag kings...
personally, i like this track allot... i raced my reventon and won 8/9 last night ( my time 9 pm, i am sing and need sleep) and got 3 pro parts, it is a parts drop track...

Umm, what? Every drag track except this one is an open class event, meaning you can use whatever car you like on a multiplayer event. Only the newest track is closed to all except S class. It's probably true that most people will use the best car they have in a multiplayer event, so chances are if you're using an S class car, that's what you'll come up against. Try using a C class car in an open drag event and see what you end up going against.
