Introducing the Koenigsegg CCXR Special Edition – A True Work of Art!
The Koenigsegg CCXR Special Edition is truly a work of art and took the CCXR to highest level possible! Sporting a Koenigsegg aluminum V8 that produces an amazing 1018 horse power; it is capable of hitting speed of over 400 km/h! But let’s walk through a couple other stats that make this car so amazing:
Engine: Koenigsegg aluminium V8, 4 valves per cylinder, double overhead camshafts.
Power output: 1018 Bhp
Acceleration: 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) 2.9 seconds, 0-200 km/h 8.75 sec. 0-200-0 km/h 13.55 sec, 0-300-0 km/h: 27.8 Sec.
Top Speed: 400+ km/h (250+ mph) (without rear wing)
Lateral G-force: 1.5 G
Weight-to-power ratio: 1.26 kg/hp
Weight distribution: 45% front, 55% rear
The CCXR Special Edition was the final limited edition of the CCXR range. Not only does the CCXR Special Edition boast the finest visible carbon work in the industry, it was also equipped with the double F1 wing, a revised aero package with a unique and larger front splitter and side winglets, wheel vents on top of the body, as well as a touch screen infotainment system with navigation and a g-force meter. It also marked the debut of Koenigsegg’s first F1 Paddle shift system and as the car is based on the CCXR concept, it also has flex-fuel capability.
The CCXR Special Edition was indeed very limited, being made in a series of just two cars. You may not be able to get one in real life but you can get it in Need for Speed World now!
