Huge soundtrack disappointment

When I saw Baba O' Riley and Won't Get Fooled again were on the soundtrack for the game, you can't fathom how excited I was, same as with NFSU2 when I saw that Riders On The Storm was listed. The disappointment part?

Baba O'Riley (Alan Wilkis Remix)
Won't Get Fooled Again (Cato Remix)
Snoop Dogg feat. The Doors Riders On The Storm (Fredwreck Remix)

I'm really starting to get annoyed with the lack of use of original tracks. Sure, some NEWER songs can have a remix and the remix sounds so much better (case and point: NFS Prostreet soundtrack). And for the record, why was One Little Victory not remixed? Did EA think "hey, it's already good enough for us, let's not remix it" while they thought "damn Baba O'Riley sucks as it is let's get someone to remix it and make it sound cool so that the people who hear the remix first are completely turned away from the original"
Even more annoying, they completely cut out the violin solo from Baba O'Riley, made Won't Get Fooled Again incredibly repetitive, and completely slaughtered Riders On The Storm. Some music is not meant to be changed/remixed/otherwise ruined, and that's one thing that the NFS team has done consistently.

Even if I was to get a computer good enough to run MW2012, I'm not purchasing it. I'll stick with the much better 2005 version of Most Wanted.

EA Thought hey if we use the original songs it is going to cost us a huge huge huge amount of $$$ for Licensing rights.

For me I could care less about the soundtrack as I have turned it off so not to get copyright issues on youtube.

I used a few of Akon's songs in one of my vids. YouTube emailed me confirming that it was okay, however the vid had to be blocked in some countries. Once I get a new laptop and start recording community vids, I'll probably ask the others what music they want me to use.

Akon is one of my favorite artists. nice choice.
