SHIFT 2 UNLEASHED Hot Lap Episodes

Congratulations to montrey87 for posting the fastest lap in our last SHIFT 2 UNLEASHED Hot Lap Challenge. This week, he got to choose the new track and car, and picked the [url=http://www.needforspeed.com/shift2unleashed/car/team-need-for-speed-bmw-z4-gt3Team Need for Speed BMW Z4 GT3[/url] on Nurburgring GP.

NFSDrew doesn't have that Z4 in-game, so he tricked-out a standard Z4 M-Coupe for his Hot Lap. Can you top his time? Post as a video response to this hot lap. If you post the best time out of all the entries, you'll get to choose the next car and track. Good luck!

This week's SHIFT 2 UNLEASHED Hot Lap takes place on the Tokyo Dockside track while driving the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. The track was decided by community vote where as NFSDrew picked the car as a shout out to NFSCoulter who is a big fan of Porsche!

As always, the racer with the best time at the end of the week wins bragging rights on the Need for Speed Facebook Fan page (over 3.1 million fans!) and gets to pick the next weeks Hot Lap car and track.

If you want to enter into the Hot Lap competition all you need to do is follow the steps below:
- Launch into a race using the same car and track that I used
- Record your full race using any recording device (mobile phone, camcorder, digital camera, etc) ensuring that you capture the post-race screen showing your best lap time
- Upload the video of your race to YouTube as a response to NFSDrew’s Hot Lap video on the Need for Speed YouTube channel

Some simple rules for this contest:
- Your video must show the entire race
- Your video must clearly display the game's HUD (specifically the race timer) during the race
- Your video must clearly show your lap time(s) on the post race screen
- Please do not include any foul or offensive language in your video

SHIFT 2 UNLEASHED Hot Lap - Week 8

Congratulations to KillJoy who won last week's Hot Lap! As the winner he got to choose the car & track for this week's Hot Lap so we're racing on Miami Biscayne Blvd with the Mazda MX-5. KillJoy was also kind enough to provide a tuning set up (quick tuning) for the MX-5:

We've never ran the Nordschleife in a SHIFT 2 UNLEASHED Hot Lap challenge simply because it's such an epically long track but this week we took the plunge and ran the lap. Luckily enough NFSDrew and NFSCoulter were in Germany a few weeks ago and actually ran laps on the Nordschleife so this week's track tips are extra special.

This week Coulter is taking us through the track that sets the standard for how all other tracks are measured from his own experience on it.
