If this also fixes my inability to buy any boost, I'll be happy!

Re: NFSW Maintenance Window - May 15
Let me start off by saying how excited I am about none of this update. Fixes that should have been addressed before the particular features were released.
Re: NFSW Maintenance Window - May 15
Yeah I must admit, most of the details of this update certainly seem "essential".
On a side note, I thought the R34 GT-R already underwent retuning? The rest is what appears to be just cosmetic adjustments, most of which we didn't really need to have or worry about.

Re: NFSW Maintenance Window - May 15
I have a list of articles I am starting to write for MMOsite and I think it is time I speak my peace on this game as well. If they don't want to listen to everyone on the forums, Facebook, Twitter, etc., maybe they will start to pay attention when I take it public about how NFSW is actually ruining the whole NFS franchise. The bleeding is going to continue into every future game they make.
Re: NFSW Maintenance Window - May 15
this update is useless!!!
these things are all pointless... who cares about your license plate??? noone actually really reads those things.... at least i dont when i race someone...????
also @dog, that would be awesome! bet they never expected someone that plays the game get on a big public level to bring up the FLAWS this game has and that we've been telling them all this time only to have them ignore us... and fix some stupid license plates haha

Re: NFSW Maintenance Window - May 15
If the tuning of the R34 had been released before the IGC Camino, I would have bought it. Oh well.
Here's how I look at updates: Bug fixes and new non-SB content are manly, while "cosmetic" updates (like paint, visual glitches, etc.) and new SB content are very feminine. Judging on that, we must have a game run virtually completely by women...
I play Backyard Monsters on Facebook (I'm probably gonna reference that when talking about World) and they're continually tipping the balance of the game, but not to the extent that the World developers are. KIXEYE focus on putting out new content for BYM every or every other Thursday or Friday, while bug fixes aren't anywhere near as common. Lag is a big problem (Flash products whoop whoop) and there are several other problems in the game as well. If KIXEYE would just take a month or two to fix bugs and optimize (speed up) the game, they could probably pull in a lot more players.
Same with World. If they took 2-3 months to fix a lot of bugs and implement a bunch of anti-cheat stuff, the game would be SO much better. I'd also love it if they could somehow optimize the game so I could run the game on Medium quality without lag or that weird rainbow color distortion thing happening whenever I crash.
But they also need to add tracks or (preferably) more TEs. Carbon had 66 events to race in Career mode (15 in all areas except Silverton, 21 in Silverton) and I can still play it over and over.
My rant is over. I go to a vocational (job training) school, and I've got final exams next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. After that, I'm going back to my main school for the next week and a half to help out with my school band, seeing as how our only tuba player is graduating and we've got someone on bass clarinet coming into HS band.
