Take a gander at one of the more agile mechs for MechWarrior Online.




Personally, I've always been more of a Thor or a Timber Wolf (Mad Cat) kind of guy. I never went for those fast-moving mechs whenever I played the MechWarrior games of yore. But these days I'll take any small nugget of information I can get for MechWarrior Online, and that's exactly what happened today with some fancy new screenshots and some brief intel on MWO's Catapult. Here's a description that I can't take any credit for:

The quintessential indirect-fire 'mech, the Catapult excels at blanketing a target in LRM fire. Most useful when used in tandem with a spotter, the Catapult can fire on enemies without being in visual contact with them. In addition to its excellent LRM weapons, the Catapult also has jump jets and four medium lasers, allowing it to quickly move out of close combat while offering fairly scary counter-fire.

I showed Dan this, i've been a fan ever since i got my hands on battletech which was made in 1984. i got it when i was about 8 and i played it till i thought my fingers would bleed xD. Now that its turning into this seemingly awsome MMO i can die happily.
