It's A Track Meet!

Building on the success of our Event Extravaganza in November, we’re holding another event but this time with a twist! Instead of opening up every single race event, we’re concentrating on only a handful. This is to make sure that players get to compete with as many other players as possible.

For two days only, from Wednesday 5pm PST – Friday 4pm PST, a total of 6 events will be available to all Drivers who are Level 2 and above. The events are:

- Eagle Drive (Sprint)

- Garden Boulevard (Circuit)

- Rockport Resistance (Pursuit Outrun)

- All In (Team Escape – Tier 1)

- Compromised (Team Escape – Tier 2)

- Most Wanted (Team Escape – Tier 3)

All other events will be temporarily disabled and removed from the map. Tier restrictions (i.e you need a car which matches the event Tier in order to join) will still be applicable, but otherwise you are completely free to try out any event you desire.

Rewards for these two days will be based on your current Driver Level, so you don’t have to be concerned about losing Rep & Cash or power leveling your Driver. The “Race Now” feature will be disabled during this event, so you can make your event selections via the World Map or by driving up to the event icon in Free Roam.

Well now read it over and over....... This is SHIT! For 2 days you will only be able to race 6 tracks in total.... Are you kidding me? What a waste of my time.

This is a good thought in why they are doing this.

well, think about it, if the nfsw staff come out that day and find someone cheating.... then they are able to access the matter better.... bad thing is with so little events... so many people.... the so called laggy games will come... on that hand is this also a test to them to see the lagg isues firsthand? ... i would be mad at so little races but... i am pleased really... bigger groups fo the races are allways funner, and usaly never happen.... the te will have a steady stream of 4 players, meaning more money if you win.... and lastly i am asking this, mabie they are looking into the races unmentioned for gliches, to acces the tracks to mabie put some kind of cheating program into the races that would tell if cheating mabie?... last thought here, this could be a memerble good or bad.... they know people will remeber this... mabie they getting out ether some new tracks or a new kind of event.... hmmmmmmmmm

Being around the game or 2 years now I can tell you that you are looking way to ar into it. They don't have any of these intentions. Please EA actually do something positive! No I don't think so. We shall wait and see.

I'm offline for the night. This Track Meet really has many on the edge. I understand that this is a monitoring strategy for hackers/cheaters, and for that I'm alright with it. As the current situation partakes it's course, I'm going to chill back and free drive. The races are full of adrenaline, as racers ram and do whatever it takes to take lead. Lag is more than usual. Cheaters spawn to the finish. Zero cash/rep bug occurring more often. Hopefully, by the end of this event, many cheaters/hackers will have been banned. For those of you in continue with this event, best luck to you.

Watch the leader boards for the Two racing events. There is atm a lotus elise doing 01:50.559 at GARDEN BOULEVARD and a SLR Mclaren 01:16.229
